ABOUT LOE
Mission and History
Ladies of Evolution initiative began in 2015. This initiative started with workshops assisting young girls, ages 6 through 18 with building character and bolstering self-esteem. LOE has interacted with young ladies from various backgrounds. Some of those young ladies had been arrested for being runaways, fighting, and prostitution. LOE realized that many of the young ladies charged as being runaways were being made to stay at home and raise siblings, those charged with fighting were seeking attention and those charges with prostitution were prostituting with their mothers. Those young ladies had never been asked about college, career choices, or their interests.
Our organization realized that something needed to be done in order to encourage those young ladies at-risk as well as break those vicious cycles that had been created. This has been the driving force for Ladies of Evolution.
LOE, since its development has had the opportunity to mentor young ladies by way of outreach programs and community activities. One vision of Ladies of Evolution is to offer minimal to no costs services to young ladies in order to cultivate and heighten their personal and professional abilities.
LOE, SINCE ITS DEVELOPMENT HAS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MENTOR YOUNG LADIES BY WAY OF OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES.
